Aaron Shaw

Pastor

Ministry Philosophy

As human beings, we are created to worship God, and to enjoy Him forever. The church serves a vital role in this relationship with God: to glorify God through corporate worship, to equip the saints to do Kingdom work, and to fulfill the Great Commission, to make disciples. Pastor Aaron's desire is to be a faithful minister of the gospel. He has pastored North Casnovia Baptist Church since August of 2010.

Personal life

Pastor Aaron has been happily married to the love of his life, Rachel Shaw, for 30 years. Their journey began together at Word of Life Bible Institute and they were married in August of 1992. His family has always been a tremendous source of joy for him. They have seven children; Hannah, Nehemiah, Keziah, Augustine, Hadassah, Judah, and Canaan, and one sweet granddaughter, Amilee Jo. They have opened their home to ten exchange students throughout the years. Pastor Aaron received his Masters of Divinity from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids. He serves as a volunteer Biblical counselor with Cherith Counseling and Conference Ministries. His greatest ministry comes on a weekly basis as he studies to show himself an approved workman, bringing the Word to the flock in his care, and making the Scripture applicable to life, holiness, purity, and Kingdom work. In his spare time, he loves hunting, canning, reading, family time and hacking grass on golf courses.
